Examples: Stamp collecting, lawn mower repair, scrapbooks, doll making, DVD slideshows of family photos, genealogy, exercise, calligraphy, dancing, selling on eBay, recording vinyl records onto CDs, knitting baby clothes, etc.

Keep Fit Class at the Mulgrave Community Centre, 355
Wellington Road, Mulgrave (Melways 71 C12). Monday 9.30 - 10.30am.
Thursday 10.00 - 11.00am.
$2 per session. ($5 annual membership.) BYO mat.
Morning tea provided. Come along and keep fit with low impact stretching and exercises suitable for seniors. No need to book. |

| Square Dancing |
The
Jaybee Square Wheelers Square Dance Club
is one of Australia's
largest square dance clubs.
Regular
square dances (and some round dances), are conducted every
Tuesday night (except Melbourne Cup Day in November) in the Notting
Hill Community Centre hall, 386 Ferntree Gully Road, Notting Hill
(Melways 70 H8) from 8.00 - 10.00pm. Experienced square dancers only. Come along and dance to Caller: Mike Davey A beginners class commences every February. Contact Mike for details. |

| Book Club | The
Mulgrave Neighbourhood
House Book Club meets at the House, 38 Mackie Road, Mulgrave
(Melways 80 C3) on the third Thursday of the month from 1.00 -
3.00pm. (Some months may be missed due to school holidays.)
Read one book per month and
have a discussion about it over afternoon tea. |

| Aikido | The
Waverley Aikido School trains every
Tuesday from 6.30pm at the Frank Dando Sports Academy, Rear of 33
Raymond Street, Ashwood. Special beginners and seniors classes

Aikido is easier on the body than other martial arts. It focuses on self-defence and learning how to fall. These are important for seniors. |
