WRAG
is the 'umbrella organisation' for over 30 leisure activity groups for the 'over
50s' living in and around the Monash / Glen
Waverley area in Melbourne, Australia.
WRAG began in
April 1974. It is an incorporated, non-profit,
community-based organisation with about 400 members. It is run by
volunteers and receives support from the Monash City Council.
Our activities are held in Council halls, private homes and public places. We occasionally get together at the quarterly General Meetings (to find out what's happening and to listen to an interesting talk or presentation), at Games Nights and, of course, at the Christmas Social.
New activities are being added each year.
If one of your favourites is not on the list, you can start it.
If you already run a group activity that is not
on our list, you may become an affiliate group and get more members from WRAG.

Exercise? - we have 8 Exercise & Sport Activity Groups.
Play games? - we have 10 Games Activity Groups that play on most nights of the week.
Go on trips and outings? - 7 Activity Groups are organised to get you out and about.
Special interests, like music, travel or bird watching? - we have Groups for these too.
